The pipeline combines both classical methods and deep learning techniques. We utilise neural networks that we train ourselves to tackle tasks such as image retrieval and the extraction of key points from images.

To support this, we've developed and continuously expand our own datasets, gathered through thousands videos taken in various cities worldwide.

Neural networks play a key role in both processes: during real-time operations within our Visual Positioning System (VPS) and in offline data processing as a part of our Spatial Mapping Pipeline.

Storing map data in the cloud has the benefit of eliminating the need for users to download map data to their devices. It also allows us to continually enhance our maps and algorithms without requiring any action from our clients.

### Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Real-time Computer-Vision Engineer you will work with R&D teams that develop core technologies for Spatial computing, on building computer-vision tools and pipelines, optimising process performance and integrating cutting-edge prototypes on-device to accelerate internal development of new features.

#### Responsibilities

- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Benchmark and optimize computer-vision pipelines on PC and mobile devices.
- Support integration of computer-vision features on mobile devices
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.
- Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.
- Conduct design and code reviews.

#### Requirements

- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in C++
- Experience with performance tuning and e2e process optimization
- Experience with Computer Vision platform

#### Preferred

- Designing, implementing and benchmarking CV/ML pipelines.
- Experience with CPU/GPU optimization of computer-vision applications.
- Experience with performance tuning and e2e process optimization
- Experience with integration and optimization of applications on Mobile/AR/VR devices.

### Computer Vision Engineer
